By 2013, we’d researched EID tags, and we decided that we had to start using them. Unfortunately, the tags available in the US were too big for our sheep, and they were too expensive to boot.
So, we bought our first Shearwell tags. At that point, they were not yet approved in the US for official use, but I was able to acquire US farm tags.
Our flock is also registered in the UK, so I was able to try out a few UK Shearwell tags, too.
