We’ve been using LambTracker® to do some of our major sorting and evaluation tasks with the sheep.
As a participating flock in USDA research on artificial insemination in sheep, we are in the middle of setting up for this year’s experiment. I’ve been using LambTracker to take notes on the teasing behavior of the ewes and rams. I’ve also been taking notes to help decide which ewes to sort into which groups.
I am continuing to implement additional functions in the LookUpSheep and EvaluateSheep modules since more of the sheep have EIDs now. Screen real estate is the main issue, but I think we’re closing in on a user interface that works.
Our last few tests have been very successful, with no user errors or issues with the UI showing up.
