In March, we sheared 102 sheep for wool micron testing. At that time, we used AnimalTrakker®’s Scan and Print functionality to label the wool samples. That enabled us to easily tie the samples back to animals in our database later, with just the scan of a label.
Well, today we worked on the actual micron testing. We rented a FibreLux machine from ASI to perform the actual testing, while using the BaaCode scanner on the labels we printed before to easily link results to each animal. Of course, we recorded the results in AnimalTrakker®.
